CID is deeply committed to promoting student involvement in all of its activities. Through both graduate and undergraduate seminars, grants and internships, as well as close ties to the Master in Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) at the John F. Kennedy School of Government, the CID is investing in the future of global economic development.
To assist Harvard students in their study of international development, CID previously published the yearly "Guide to Studying International Development at Harvard" (2004-2005 version) in conjunction with the undergraduate student group Bhumi (now the Harvard College International Development Organization - HIDO). Starting in 2005, listings in Bhumi Magazine have taken the place of the guide (spring 2005 issue of Bhumi Magazine).
