Nicholas Wilson is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Brown University. His research focuses on the economics of HIV/AIDS, health and international development, and the role of historical institutions in economic development. He has lived and conducted research in Bangladesh and Zambia. Prior to pursuing his PhD in economics, Nicholas worked as a Junior Professional Associate in the Human Development Network Education Group at the World Bank. He holds a MA in Economics from Brown University, a MPAID from Harvard University, and a BA in Economics from Reed College.
