Rodrigo Martinez is a Project Leader with The Boston Consulting Group in Boston where he focuses on healthcare, biotechnology and economic development. Over the last two and a half years he has worked on projects in areas such as international economic development, global public health, biopharma R&D, and public policy in the life sciences sector.
Previously Rodrigo was Vice President at Bio Economic Research Associates (Bio-Era), a life sciences research and advisory firm in Cambridge. He was a co-founder of Harvard Business School’s Life Sciences Project where he authored and co-authored several articles published in the US and Latin America.
Rodrigo has given various talks in Colombia, Mexico and the US about the life sciences revolution, innovation and economic growth. Rodrigo was Student Associate at the Center for International Development at Harvard University where he focused on public-private partnerships in the biotechnology arena. Previously, as an Intern at the World Bank, he worked on the application of IT and Biotechnology to international development projects.
Rodrigo Martinez holds a B.A. in International Relations from ITAM in Mexico City, where he was a Bailleres Scholar and a Masters in Public Administration in International Development from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, where he was a World Bank Scholar.
